Branding and Visual Identity
Muna Sagal was conceptualized to solve a specific market friction: transitioning traditional Somali aesthetics into a high-fashion, institutional brand asset without losing cultural integrity or defaulting to generic, low-tier "boutique" framing.

The strategy eradicated the "craft" or "local" labels that often trap cultural brands in low-margin pricing. We positioned the entity as a cultural monolith, where every textile pattern and color story is treated as a high-stakes design archive rather than mere clothing.

The visual identity organizes the vibrant complexity of the textiles into a highly disciplined, editorial system. By containing the aggressive colors within stark, unyielding typographical frames, the brand commands space in the contemporary luxury fashion sector.
